Although the controls are slightly frustrating at times and the sub-plots are less engaging than the main story, Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall is a solid entry in the series and should satisfy long-term fans and new players alike. While the game does include two different difficulty levels, with the 'amateur' setting offering easier puzzles and more hints, it provides a genuine challenge and the puzzles can be hard to solve. Gameplay uses classic point-and-click controls, and places a great emphasis on puzzle-solving and exploration. I strongly believe that all 25 games, along with the Dossier games, have replay value.
